The Vapesta products on this list has done a great job with the countless variants of Monster Energy. But why there may as well be no list if the long-loved Monster Energy original isn’t on it. The infamous green can that stands out in a sea of other energy drink products; Monster Energy has won the caffeinated hearts of millions.
Vapesta’s original lacks in no category to qualify it as the perfect recreation of the classic Monster Energy original in vape juice form. If you aren’t pumped up and excited about it after reading this, you definitely will be after you had your first puff.
User experience varies per individual. However, if you loved Monster Energy in regular liquid form, you will definitely love it no less in e-liquid form. A simple way to visualise your first ‘sip’ (draw) from your vape device would be: a rush of sweet reinvigorating energy that refreshes you inside out.
Vapesta’s master skill in creating e-liquids paired with Monster’s decade-long experience in creating energy drinks will set you up for a fizzy, energetic vaping experience.
Now, there is no secret that energy drinks contain caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant and is what makes you feel so refreshed and energized. Stripping the caffeine away from an energy drink may not be as bad as you think if it is replaced with Nicotine; another stimulant. That’s right, nicotine is actually classified as a stimulant rather than just a boring old depressant.
Vapesta ensures that only you define your vaping experience by providing you with a list of choices in the nicotine department. If you have just quit smoking and still crave the strong effect kick of nicotine which you may be addicted to, you have a shiny 20mg nicotine option for the flavour you pick.
If you love vaping but not the addictive nature that follows it, the 0mg nicotine option is perfect for you. If you are somewhere in between wanting a real nicotine dose and enjoying 0 nicotine, there is a 10mg option waiting just for you with the Vapesta flavour you pick.
Everybody loves Monster Energy. With Vapesta’s collection of e-liquids, you can now enjoy the energetic variants of Monster Energy in your vape device. With a number of different variants and perfect skill in flavour recreation, you are set for an addictive, satisfying vaping experience.

]]>When moving from smoking to vaping, you can do it in one of two ways. You can completely quit smoking and go straight to vaping, or alternatively you can vape and still smoke. Either way, you are still taking a healthier decision, since vaping and smoking means you will smoke less. If you vape and smoke, you may find yourself smoking less and less until you stop smoking altogether.
A vape device is essential to be able to vape. Most new vapers would look for a cigalike, a vape pen or something similar to the cigarette they used to smoke. There are many other designs you can get, like pod kits and box mods, with the former being quite easy to use.
For Information on Vape Kits, check out: How To Choose A Vape Kit
E-Liquids are also essential to give you something to vape. Luckily, e-liquids come in thousands of flavours so there's something for everyone. Ex-smokers would often start with tobacco flavours, since they are similar to the cigarettes, but fruity e-liquids are also a popular choice.
Nicotine is often important in an e-liquid, since ex-smokers generally use vaping as a healthier way of getting nicotine. You need the right strength so you are satisfied with your vape. The best thing to do is start with a low nicotine strength and go up.
It's best to have multiple e-liquids in your house, so you can fill up when it runs out without having to go to the shops again to get it.
For Information on e-liquids, check out: How to Choose an E-Liquid
When buying a full vape kit, your tank will most likely come with preinstalled coils, and the kit may also come with replacement coils. It is still best to have some extra coils with you just in case those burn out or something goes wrong.
Batteries sometimes come installed in the kit, or separately in the box, but sometimes the battery isn't included. When you order a kit, it usually would say the battery required for the kit, so you can either buy it with the kit or buy it elsewhere.
While vaping is helpful in reducing cravings, they can still occur, but there are ways of dealing with the cravings. Try vaping when you get a craving. If the vaping doesn't work, it's possible a higher nicotine strength is required.
Alternatively, there are other things you can do to help with the cravings:
Remember that, while dealing with cravings isn't easy, they only last about 5 to 10 minutes. Every craving you get through can be a victory for you. After a short time, the cravings will stop, so you won't have to deal with them for long.
While vaping is legal in the UK, you need to be aware of where you can vape, because you can't vape everywhere. Public transport, hospitals and some stadiums don't allow vaping inside, but some buildings have vaping areas outside. Do not vape unless you are sure you can, otherwise it can make your first vape less enjoyable.
The main place you can vape is in your house, but you should still be mindful. While secondhand vaping isn't proven to be harmful, people around you may not like you vaping in their face, so be careful not to vape at people.
You'll start becoming much more confident about your choice after a couple of days of vaping and not smoking, but that doesn't mean that everybody you know will be happy with the decision you took. While major companies are becoming more accepting of vaping, the media and many people still believe it is harmful or ineffective in helping smokers quit, along with a range of other myths. Check out our blog on the myths of vaping to find out the truths behind the myths.
When quitting someting like smoking, you may need support to help you transition, even when transitioning to vaping. Luckily, there are many people who can help you.
Firstly, your family and friends are always there to help. This is true for a lot of things and not just vaping. They can help you with cravings or distract you when you're finding it difficult. Some family members may even vape, so they may be able to give you vaping tips and advice.
Vaping forums are an excellent source of help, with many experts teaching you about certain parts of vaping and advising you on the best products to use. Also, most people on the forums have gone through the same struggles as you have, and may be able to give you tips on how to overcome challenges when switching to vaping.
There are many vape-friendly stop smoking services to help you make the transition, with even the NHS available to help. They can give you advice on the issues that may come up when vaping and help you find a solution.
Here at Moreish Puff, we're willing to help you make the transition, offering vape information and advice in our blogs. If you're having any issues vaping, be sure to contact us and one of our knowledgeable team will help.
]]>One of the main reasons behind the recent discussion over vaping safety is the vaping deaths that occured in summer 2019. This put a lot of fear into people, with some countries even proposing a flavour ban. The deaths were later discovered to be down to illicit vape products containing high amounts of THC (the hallucinogen found in marijuana).
These products are illegal and were bought off the black market. This mainly affected the US, since the UK and Europe's vape products are heavily regulated to ensure that no illegal products are sold.
The majority of the world's vapers are former smokers who choose vaping as the safer way to get nicotine. Smoking is known to cause about 480,000 deaths each year, the largest preventable cause of death, while vaping has hardly killed anyone, and even when they have, it's due to bootleg products. This is attributed to the tar in tobacco, which can cause blood clots, respiratory problems and even cancer. E-Cigarettes do not contain tar or other dangerous carcinogens, which makes it a safer choice.
Public Health England has urged smokers to turn to vaping to assist with the chances of quitting, however they advise people that have never smoked to not consider vaping.
One of the main reasons people don't trust e-cigarettes is the nicotine.
Nicotine is believed to cause cancer or heart disease, however, nicotine is not the cancer-causing component of cigarettes,it is the tar that causes it. People have assumed for years that nicotine is the dangerous part of smoking, so vaping wasn't used as it was considered to be still harmful.
Although it does not induce such diseases, smoking is still addictive. The degree of addiction is dependant on how the nicotine is consumed. Smoking provides a quicker impact for the user, rising the addiction, while vaping gives a slower hit. You can feel lightheaded, dizzy and even jittery when you overdo it with the nicotine.
Before the vaping deaths in the US, there were other vaping deaths, but these were due to the device exploding rather than due to the e-liquids. This is because of the battery in the device which, like with other devices, can explode when exposed to extreme heat.
Most kits are regulated, meaning the battery is safe and is almost certain to not explode. Be aware, however, of how you install the battery and how hot the device gets, as these are the main causes of battery faults.
The only known allergy relating to vaping is an allergy to Propylene Glycol. While with a food allergy, you can just not eat the food, vapers may need the nicotine, so they can't stop vaping. You can, however, get pure VG e-liquids, which will contain only traces of PG.
Food allergies will not occur with e-liquids. While people may be allergic to peanuts, a peanut butter flavoured e-liquid would not affect the allergies, since only the flavouring is used and not the product itself. E-Liquids can contain traces of nuts, however, so people with nut allergies should be careful.
Thanks to the TPD laws, vape products are only allowed in the UK to people over the age of 18. Vape shops and vape websites, including this one, run a strict age verification policy to ensure that children are not harmed by vapes.
If swallowed by a child, the nicotine in e-liquids can be very toxic. Only a spoonful of ingestion may cause nausea, strokes and may even put a child in a coma. E-Liquid bottles generally come with a childproof cap to avoid this happening, but it is best to be careful when around children.
There is still research into how safe vaping really is, but it has been proven to be 95% healthier than smoking. Smokers are advised to try vaping as a way to lean off the smoking habit, but non-smokers are advised, if they do vape, to use a low nicotine strength. Stay Moreish!
]]>When you start vaping on a new coil, it's best to let it prime first by leaving the wick for a few minutes to saturate the e-liquid before starting to vape it. This ensures that the wick is properly saturated since dry cotton burns.
Burning a new coil can be easy, since the wicking is tight and the wicking material is less porous until it is properly vaped. What this indicates is that this wick has to be given more care when the coil head is new or hasn't been used in a long time, just to ensure it properly soaks through.
Without priming, the air pockets in the wicking compact may not move and you may end up getting a poor vaping experience.
All you need to do to fix this is prime your coils.
If you are sure that you have properly primed and soaked your coils, and the coil is still in its expected lifespan, there is a high possibility that you have exceeded your coil head's maximum wattage when vaping.
When you get a burnt hit, the first thing you should do is check your device, to make sure you haven't inadvertantly turned your wattage up.
On the packaging or the instructions of the coils or kit, you should find the wattage range recommended for the coil. Make sure to stay in this range to stop yourself from getting dry hits. When you vape at a wattage too high, the e-liquid in the cotton evaporates quicker than the wick can re-saturate, causing dry cotton burning.
When you install a new coil or coil head, after the prime and soak stage, you should start at the lower end of the wattage range, take 4 to 5 hits, and increase by 5 watts. Repeat this until you get to the top of the coil head range.
If you exceed the wattage on the coil, the best thing to do is either clean the coil or replace it.
To an extent, the coils you use can affect the VG/PG ratio you need to use, depending on the wattage. Since PG is the thinner of the two, the lower the recommended wattage, the higher the PG should be.
The wicking ports on the sides of the coils do also affect the ratio. If the holes are big, then a high VG e-liquid should be used, however, if the holes are small, a higher PG liquid would be best.
Vaping on small coil heads with a high VG liquid can cause your wick to burn, since the VG is too thick to fit the tiny wicking ports and saturate the coil in time.
One good solution is to simply check the holes on the coils. If the holes are big, then a VG liquid is ok but if they are small, use a PG liquid.
The best thing to do would be to vape with a 50% and over VG ratio for coils with a wattage over 30W.
The wicking ports around the coil should never be exposed, as liquid should always be going in. If not, you will experience a dry or burnt hit. Repeatedly doing this will decrease the lifespan of the coils.
When you vape from a tank with exposed wicking ports, or a tank that hasn't been topped up, you draw air instead of juice into your wicking. When you fill the tank again, unless you prime and soak the coils , your first hits are likely going to be on dry cotton.
If you have been vaping with an empty tank, you need to prime your coils and refill them, ensuring your tank is topped up in the future and your wicking ports are never exposed. You may need to clean your coil thoroughly or replace them if you still get a burnt taste
Lots of people like chain vaping, especially when they have a really good flavour like Moreish Puff, but not all coils can handle it. Sometimes you may chain vape and may not notice your tank getting hot.
When the tank gets overheated from chain vaping, the e-liquid overheats, making it thinner and causing it to vaporise too rapidly to saturate the coils in time, resulting in a dry hit.
When chain vaping, make sure to take note of how hot your tank is getting. You don't want it getting too hot or you will get a burnt taste. If it is hot, leave it for a bit before continuing to vape.
Now you should know why you're getting a burnt taste so you can avoid getting a burnt taste again in the future.
]]>The Tobacco Products Directive (or TPD for short) is a regulation by the European Union setting limits on the marketing and selling of tobacco and tobacco related products in the European Union. It was originally created in 2001 but also updated in 2014 to include e-cigarettes.
Once the regulation was authorised, each EU member state had to implement the TPD standards into their laws by the 20th May 2016. The Tobacco Products Directive is an EU regulatory act on the purchase of tobacco products, including e-liquids and vaping devices. The TPD legal requirements are laid out in Article 20 of the Tobacco Products Directive.
Regulation is unavoidable for a booming industry and the Tobacco Products Directive was established to improve the operations of the internal market for tobacco and its related products. Its key goals are to:
E-Liquids are the most regulated vape products, especially e-liquids containing nicotine. To be compliant, they:
Tanks are one other vape product that was affected by the TPD regulations. To be compliant, vape tanks:
The TPD Regulations has many benefits for both customers and businesses.
Due to the revised labels and packaging requirements, including information like health warnings, details on nicotine content and ingredients used in the product, customers are now fully informed about their products.
Vapers can now benefit from better product quality and product safety, since products are now being regulated to ensure that the right ingredients are going in.
There is now an tamper-evident and child protection policy in place that prevents e-liquids from leakage and minimises the possibility of exposure to ingestion or handling hazards by customers. The number of underage people that vape have now decreased significantly. E-liquid bottles are now made from an unbreakable material that avoids risks like animals or children getting into the bottle.
All vaping products and e-liquids must be registered and approved under the MHRA (Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency), which is responsible for the UK notification scheme for refill containers and e-cigarettes, and also for applying the majority of the requirements of Article 20.
The product can go up for sale six months after its submission to the MHRA. This includes vaping products that existed prior to 20 May 2016 (when the TPD laws came in). However once the manufacturer's notification is published as part of the list of products submitted, they can sell the products even before the six-month period ends. A substantially modified product qualifies as a new product, and must also follow this process.
Short fills are e-liquids containing more than 10ml of e-liquid but with no nicotine. These were developed so that consumers still could vape e-liquids greater than 10ml while still abiding by the law.
Nic shots are 10ml flavourless nicotine liquids that can be added to short fills to get your nicotine. Short fills don't tend to fill the bottle to the top with e-liquid, so a 100ml e-liquid will come in a 120ml bottle, for instance. This helps the user to add two nic shots to the container to receive their nicotine dose with their short fill.
For More Information, see "How Do Nic Shots Work?"
Now you should know all there is to know about TPD. All our products are TPD compliant, with either short fills or nic salts available on our site. Try some today!
]]>But how do you pick the kit that's right for you? You don't want to end up with a kit you don't like and struggle to use. Today, I am going to guide you through how to choose the best vape kit for you!
When you first start vaping, you obviously don't know everything about vaping, so you don't want a difficult and advanced kit to start with, as you'll have no idea what to do. Pod kits are easy to use, since you just insert the pod and get vaping, and so maybe the best kit to go for as a beginner.
Like with a lot of things, you want a vape kit that looks good. Since vapes come in a variety of colours, there is a colour for anyone!
Many people like vape kits that look like a normal cigarette, since they used to be smokers and want something with the same feel to it.
You may want a good sized vape, since a big vape is harder to carry in your pocket. Some vape devices, however, come with a display, and you may want a device where you can easily see the display.
Money is always an important thing, so you don't want to be spending over £100 on a simple vape kit, unless your budget is high enough. Vaping may be cheaper than smoking, but buying the vape device can at first be costly. You don't want to just go for the cheapest kit on the market though, since the kit may not be all that good.
Vape devices run on batteries, and they do need charging sometimes. Like a mobile phone, you want a kit with a long lasting battery, so you don't have to charge it up all the time. You also want a kit with a quick charge so you can get back to vaping quickly.
Vape Kits can come with a variety of functions to enhance and customise the vaping experience. Some kits allow you to change the temperature the e-liquid burns at. Many have displays showing how much battery is left, so you can charge it before it goes dead. However, devices with more features can sometimes be more complicated.
Some kits come with pods that are already prefilled with e-liquid. While these e-liquid pods are easy to use, they don't come in that many flavours, so you want to make sure they have a flavour you like before buying the kit.
One important thing to note with almost anything you buy is the reviews. Sure, the device may have all the features you want, it may be cheap and it may look great, but if it doesn't get very good reviews, it's probably not a good kit. Make sure to look at the reviews before you order a kit to see what people think of it.
Choosing a vape kit is a lot like choosing a smartphone, you want a good looking one that's easy to use, has the features you want and comes at a good price. Take a look around to find a kit that's perfect for you, and stay moreish!
]]>Cloud chasing is the process of attempting to create massive clouds of vapour from your device. Advanced vapers often do this as a hobby, with competitive vaping involving creating large, imaginative clouds.
Cloud chasing began in the West Coast of America in 2012. While cloud chasing was not the original reason behind the production of vapes, it did became a popular byproduct. The creator of the first e-cigarette, Hon Lik, spoke about this back in 2015, explaining "When automotive manufacturers first started out, they were not thinking about a sport to be called Formula One. You always have groups of people who are looking for excitement."
It's not simple to create massive clouds with your vape, and you can't merely vape any kit hoping for results. There are two key ways to create lots of vapour. The first is sub-ohm vaping, which is vaping with a coil with a resistance of less than 1 ohm. This can be achieved by adding more electricity to the battery, as if more power is being added to the coils, the coils get hotter and more vapour is being generated, although you need to be careful not to give the battery too much power, as this can cause excess heat.
The second way to chase the cloud is to have more VG in your e-liquids. E-liquids come in a ratio of VG / PG. PG controls the throat hit while VG is responsible for producing vapour. A higher VG ratio will lead to producing more vapour. Our short fills generally come in a ratio of 70% VG / 30% PG, so you will get a good amount of vapour when you vape them.
Many advanced vapours engage in cloud chasing competitions, trying to see who can make the best clouds or the most vapour. They also try to perform various vape tricks, like making rings, streams or ripples. There have been many official vape competitions in the past, where entrants can win between $250 and $2000 in cash.
Competitive vaping has many rules. When blowing their clouds, vapers stand back to back and their clouds are measured by girth, length and average density using a yardstick or ruler. The contestant making the biggest cloud goes into the next round. Some of the biggest clouds were measured at approximately 6 feet!
Some people are sceptical about vapers because of the vapour they create, afraid that second-hand vapour can cause health problems. Even some vapers have berated cloud chasers, saying it makes vaping seem more like a game and could attract younger people and give a bad reputation to vaping.
Because of this, there are certain places you can't vape, like on public transport. Even in places where vaping is allowed, it is best to keep it discreet, or see if someone minds you cloud chasing. When at work, don't blow vapour into people's faces or it may get banned. Save the tricks and massive clouds for when you're showing friends or at home.

Cloud chasing is a common thing nowadays, with many people still trying to make good vape tricks. Stay Moreish!
Vaping is widely known as a safer substitute for cigarette smoking. Many employers may allow and even promote vaping at work rather than smoking (because smoking is typically prohibited in the workplace due to fire risks, second-hand smoke, etc.).
If you are employed in the vape business, you will most definitely be permitted to vape. The boss could get you to test and get your opinion on their latest e-liquid flavours.
Vaping creates second hand vapour. Although secondhand vapour is not proven to cause any health risks unlike secondhand smoke, research is still required. People are concerned about second-hand vapour, afraid it could inflict long-term damage.
An e-cigarette can look similar to a normal cigarette, too. This can be a problem as people may attempt to smoke cigarettes claiming to be e-cigarettes, which can trigger secondhand smoke etc.
Most companies may have smoke alarms to prevent fires. The vapour may reach the smoke alarm when someone vapes and trigger it to go off, although this is only known to happen when there is a lot of vapour.
Some people may think that smoking and vaping are basically the same thing, and may argue that smoking cigarettes should also be allowed if vaping is permitted.
If you work in a catering position it's not the best idea to vape while cooking. The e-liquid flavours that come out of the vapour may contaminate the food. Many restaurants also already ban indoor vaping from the customers.
When vaping is not permitted in the office, there are typically areas outside to vape. Such centres are typically, unfortunately, primarily for smoking, but you can try to find a different place near work to stand and experience the vape. You shouldn't asked to stop as you are vaping outside.
If your employer allows you to vape inside, you still have some rules and procedures to observe when vaping.
Make sure to ask the people around you if they're all right with you vaping before you do. Although the manager might be ok with it, your colleagues may not want you too. If the coworkers also vape, it can open up discussions on the topic (and how Moreish Puff is best).
Make sure to never purposefully blow vapour at someone. This can get them irritated and put them off vaping, which could lead you to having to vape outside.
Consider vaping a more subtle flavor as stronger flavors can be disturbing and annoying to non-vapors.
If you follow these rules, you might be helping to change people's vaping mindset. Nevertheless, if you don't follow these, it can escalate to a vaping prohibition in your office.
Now you should know the correct etiquette when vaping in the workplace. Always check with the manager before vaping in the business, otherwise it can lead to you being fired. Stay moreish!
]]>Vaping has come a long way in the last ten years, with new technology, new brands and new laws. While it's impossible to tell what the future has in store for us, here are some predictions of what might be happening in the next 10 years.
In 2019, the vape market was hit after news stories came out about people dying from vaping. While this was later revealed to be due to an illegal chemical in the product, many countries started tightening their vaping laws, with places like India enforcing a country-wide ban of vaping, while countries like America started considering a flavour ban.
The stories have died down now, however it is possible that another story may come out in the future regarding illegal vape products causing deaths. This could lead to more vaping bans, however Martin Dockrell, head of Tobacco Control at Public Health England, assured citizens that all of England's vape products are tightly regulated for safety and quality to ensure that no counterfeit products are sold, meaning it is unlikely a ban will occur in the UK.
The e-cigarette industry in 2018 amounted to 11.26 billion dollars and is expected to reach 18.16 billion dollars by 2024, with a compound annual growth rate
of 8.28% over the forecast period (2019-2024). In recent years, with the increasing trend towards e-commerce, online retailing is also evolving as a powerful distribution channel and is expected to grow more, thus increasing the value of distribution platforms.
It is certain that more and more people are going to start switching from vaping to smoking as a healthier alternative, with vaping still being a popular trend and lots of statements coming out about vaping being better for you.
Technology is constantly evolving, and the same is true for vaping technology. In the past few years, we've seen introductions to pod devices, allowing you to hold your vape kit in the palm of your hand, as well as temperature control kits, allowing you to control the temperature your e-liquid vaporises at.
Over the next few years, companies are going to focus on building better vape kits, bringing improved flavours and a pleasant and leak-free experience. Devices could be introduced that monitor the nicotine dose and also advise the user on when to change the coils or pods.
The future looks bright for vaping, with new developments in the vape market promising great improvements to our vaping lifestyle.
]]>The concept of vaping first arose over 2000 years ago in Ancient Egypt, where Egyptians would heat oils and herbs on hot stones and breathe the vapour in. While this isn't the same as modern vaping, it did pave the way to modern vaping.
Joseph Robinson was the first person to come up with the idea of an e-cigarette in 1927. It wasn't until 1963, however, that Herbert Gilbert and his "smokeless non-tobacco cigarette" popularised vaping. His invention was patented in 1965. Sadly, no one at the time knew of his "smokeless non-tobacco cigarette."
Phil Ray and Normal Jacobson started working to benefit from the concept of e-cigarettes in the 1980s, but the FDA did not allow tobacco companies to sell e-cigarettes.
In Europe, vaping was popular too. Bill Amato invented the cannabis vaporizer in Amsterdam in the 90s. The German stationary / desktop vaporizer Volcano was based on his ideas.
The first e-cigarette was created by the Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik in the 2000s. In 2006, he was assisted by his employer Ruyan Group to bring his idea to the world. This was done for his father, who died of lung cancer as a result of smoking.
In 2007, the first e-cigarette was launched in the U.S. and has since become a popular trend. Since then, many modifications have been made to electronic cigarettes. By inventing the cartomizer, Umer and Tariq Sheik made e-cigs more customer friendly.
In 2014, e-cigarettes were classified as tobacco products and a law was passed under the Tobacco Products Directive, banning any tanks over 2ml and any e-liquids over 10ml that contain nicotine. E-Liquid manufacturers managed to combat this with short fills, e-liquids containing more than 10ml but containing no nicotine. Nicotine Shots were also sold to add to the short fill for your nicotine boost.
In 2019, the first death caused by vaping was reported in the US. This was revealed to be due to black market products containing high amounts of THC (which are not at all found in legal vape products). Nevertheless, the Trump Administration set out to ban flavoured e-liquids across the country, but later backed down.
Vaping continues to grow and improve across the world, with many people finding this a healthier alternative to smoking. Happy vaping!
]]>Like food, e-liquids have best before dates to inform you when the vape juice will no longer be of the same quality. The expiry date is dependant on the ingredients used.
The shelf life of PG (Propylene Glycol) is 2 years, while the shelf life of VG (Vegetable Glycerin) is 4 to 6 years. Flavours can last for up to one year, but PG and VG (which are preservatives) help the flavour last longer. The expiry date depends on the shelf life of the PG, so e-liquids last 2 years. This is the same for all e-liquids, including Max VG, because they still contain a very little amount of PG.
The date of expiry may also depend on the production of the e-liquid. If it was created in a science laboratory by qualified chemists (like Moreish Puff is), it will last longer than one produced in someone's garage, and it will also be better and safer.
So long as the cap is tightly secured and the bottle is properly stored, E-Liquid can still last up to 2 years once opened. The best way to make the e-liquid last the full two years is to store in in a cool, dark place, out of the sun, as the sun can break down the ingredients. The best place to store it is in an opaque container in a cupboard or on a shelf, away from the reach of children.
Sometimes in an e-liquid, the heavy elements may fall to the bottom of thebottle. Simply shake them to mix it agan. If the e-liquid is not mixed, the e-liquid is likely to have expired and you should throw it out.
You can also tell by the smell whether or not the e-liquid has expired. Like milk, when it expires, the smell of the e-liquid will change. If the e-liquid smells bad, throw it away.
The expiration date of e-liquid, like with other foods, is simply a recommendation when to finish the vape juice by. Vaping expired e-liquid is not dangerous or bad for your health.
When the e-juice expires, several things can happen: the taste may dissipate, the smell and colour may change, and the bottle may get tinted. Also the nicotine may disappear, which is bad news for any former smokers who want to get their nicotine. If this occurs, you should probably throw it away.
When your e-liquid has expired, there are many ways to get rid of it. Do not pour it into a drain without diluting it significantly as the nicotine ends up in the watershed. One way to get rid of it is to pour it into a suitable, absorbent material such as coffee grounds or kitty litter. For gardeners, you can mix the e-liquid in water and spray it over the plants as a pesticide, since pests don't like the nicotine.
Now you should know how long your e-liquid is going to last, so you can continue vaping without worrying about expiring or running out of e-liquid. Pick up some Moreish Puff today, and stay Moreish!
A large number of the e-liquid brands are available for purchase online. Despite the fact that it's difficult to be objective with regards to taste.
You ask what the preferred flavour is, and you have heard crystal clear! How about we not burn through any additional time and find the solution to this deep-rooted inquiry: What is the best e-liquid? First, we find out what the terms mean.
It is important to purchase e-liquids from a professional company. The blending and mixes for e-liquid need to be handled in a professional laboratory setting. They have to be of the highest quality standards and meet safety regulations.
There are many flavours of e-liquid and below, we highlight the best e-liquid flavours available to buy at Moreish Puff.
E-cigarettes are battery-controlled smoking gadgets. They have tanks or cartridges loaded up with an e-liquid that generally contains nicotine and flavourings. Vaping is the inhaling of vapour made by an electronic cigarette.
Ever since 2014, the vaping industry has boomed with many smokers choosing to vape instead, it's suggested that there are over 3.5 million vapers in the UK, with this number growing every day!
E-liquid or vape juice is a blend that is utilized in electronic cigarettes (vaping mods) to get a similar experience of smoking. The most widely recognized ingredients in e-liquid are;
There are many different formulations available and can vary depending on what device you use. The 70% VG / 30% PG tends to be a premium juice which is used in larger e-cigarette devices, then 50% VG / 50% PG can hold higher concentration of nicotine which is commonly used in pod or pen devices.
Using nicotine in your vape is a matter of choice. People choose to vape for various reasons. Most people who smoke and choose to quit by using e-cigs use nicotine to help some symptoms of withdrawal and then reducing nicotine intake over time.
Smoking cigarettes is an addiction and it's clear that e-cigarettes with nicotine can be more effective than other nicotine replacement therapies.
There are e-liquids made with no nicotine content and those that contain nicotine. The range varies, and below is a comparative example. This should help determine the strength of nicotine best for you.
A study by Oxford Academic suggests, just low amounts of nicotine can be beneficial and all that is needed for an ex-smoker to kick the habit, without nasty withdrawals. Depending on the device, it can change your overall nicotine hit from vaping, so it's always recommended to invest in a good vape kit.
If you feel you are vaping too much, lower your nicotine dosage to a smaller amount e.g. from 20mg to 12mg, 12mg to 6mg, and 6mg to 3mg, 3mg to 0mg. This will allow a gradual process.
Depending on what device you use, may decide which e-liquid is best to use. For example, many prefer to smoke nicotine salts in a pod device, or short fills in a tank. This is mostly down to personal preference.
Moreish Puff stock a variety of e-liquid products including;
The UK has strict regulations regarding the nicotine contents allowed in e-liquid, since the introduction of the TPD compliance there is a maximum of 20mg. Products containing nicotine cannot be larger than a 10ml bottle, which restricts the sale of nicotine products to nic shots or nic salts. Many individuals choose to buy short fill bottles, and then mix with an 18mg nicotine shot to make up the preferred nicotine contents, in a 25ml, 50ml or 100ml bottle.
Yes, there are many recipes available online to Do-It-Yourself however it can be a time consuming and messy process which will only result in a mismatch of flavoring, incorrect volumes and inconsistency. Many e-liquid brands sell concentrates which allow DIY mixing.
How to store my e-liquid and vape juice...
If you are purchasing bulk quantities of e-liquid, similar to pre-packed food, e-liquids can be damaged by heat and light, making it best suited for a dark and cool location. Ensure you keep your e-liquid out of the reach of children or minors.

We already know that public transport prohibits smoking, and vape regulations are similar. Vaping is banned on all British trains and flights. This is because of two reasons. Firstly, many individuals are skeptical about vaping and believe it's as risky as smoking. The other reason is that, while vaping is different from smoking, it still looks similar to smoking, so smokers can use it to bypass the law, pretending to vape when they are actually smoking. There are alarms in the toilets on trains and planes that go off when you vape. Vaping is also prohibited by airports and stations.
Buses and coaches can differ from company to company with respect to their vaping policies. Vaping is prohibited on London Buses and National Express, but it's best to ask about the smoking rules for other companies before you begin vaping on the bus. You'll be kicked off the bus if you're caught vaping on a bus that bans it.
The general rule on cruises and ferries is to vape in the designated areas for smoking. On the balcony, most cruise lines have banned smoking, and vaping may be the same. Before you vape, make sure to ask the cruise company.
The regulation on vaping in hospitals will differ greatly based on where you are in the UK. For example, hospitals in Scotland, with the exception of the NHS Lothian Trust, have banned e-cigarettes across hospital grounds, not just in hospitals themselves. Although strictly speaking, England and Wales do not have a blanket ban on vaping, many hospitals are enforcing a ban on vaping.
Under recent medical advice, hospitals are allowed to start distributing e-cigarettes and have patients vape indoors, and even in bed. Public Health England (PHE) suggested that any smoker trying to stop should be advised to take e-cigarettes.
Sports stadium vaping rules vary from club to club. Major arenas, such as Old Trafford and Manchester City, have severe vaping prohibitions, but smaller clubs are more relaxed about it. The laws change a lot, so it's best to check the vape regulations with the venue. You can be thrown out for it if you're spotted vaping in an arena where it's banned.
Most of the big music venues prohibit vaping (including some sports stadiums). Another example is the NEC in Birmingham, which, except for the Vape Expo UK (held twice a year) does not permit vaping inside the building. Smaller music venues are more relaxed, so ask a staff member if vaping is all right before you do it.
Workplace vaping is often a difficult issue. Some businesses have rules that govern how their workers should vape and where the vaping area is, but others do not. Vaping should be authorised in places where smoking is tolerated as a rule of thumb. Nevertheless, businesses are strongly urged not to put vapers in the same place as smokers. Public Health England suggests companies create a dedicated vaping area and promote the use of e-cigarettes instead of combustible tobacco products.
Unlike smoking, vaping is not banned in every pub, cafe or restaurant. A general rule would be to consult with the establishment's manager before vaping. Some chain restaurants including KFC and Starbucks include vaping in their anti-smoking policy; others differentiate between the two. In any event, even if they violate a particular establishment's vaping law, a vaper will not suffer any legal repercussions.
These rules could soon change with news reports constantly coming out about vaping. Make sure that vaping is allowed until you vape, and stay moreish!
]]>There are many things you need to check before you start thinking about what to take.
First and foremost, make sure the country you are travelling to allows vaping. Vaping is banned in the following countries.
This is integral as if you vape in these countries, you can face a fine or a prison sentence dependent on the country. The laws are constantly changing, so we recommend you check the vaping laws in the country you are going to before you decide to go.
Next, check the rules for vaping in an airport. Most airports do not allow you to vape in the terminal, but some have vaping areas outside.
It is illegal to vape on any planes, but for some airlines you are allowed to take your vape with you onto the plane. It is recommended you check with the airline provider before getting on the plane with your vape.
E-cigarettes use lithium batteries, which have to be carried separately on the plane, and the cigarette cannot be charged on the plane just in case it overheats. Be sure not to keep batteries in your pocket with other metal objects or they might short circuit.
The next step is packing for your holiday. You need to make sure you have everything so you don't get caught short when you are at your destination.
The most important things to pack are the vape kit and e-liquids, since without these, you can't vape at all. Do not leave e-liquid in the tank, since the liquid may spill otherwise. Also to stop spillage, be sure that the e-liquid bottle is tightly shut. Make sure you pack enough e-liquid to get you through the holiday.
Most airlines have restrictions on the amount of liquids you can take on a plane so be sure not to pack too much. The maximum amount is usually around 100ml.
Also be sure to pack replaceable atomizers and tanks, just in case something happens while you are away. Pack your batteries separately for reasons mentioned earlier and pack a charger so your vape doesn't go dead.
For countries that allow vaping, they still can have restrictions on where you can and can't vape, due to people being wary of vaping and the possible dangers of secondhand vapour.
Some bars and restaurants do allow vaping, but it is best to ask first, since many restaurants do not allow this. This is the same with the theatre, stage shows and other things.
Vaping in public transport is usually not allowed, but some bus services may. It is best to ask the driver before vaping. Also if you rent a car, some people don't allow you to vape. If you do vape, it can affect your insurance, so it is best to check before you vape.
Since it is out in the open air, vaping is usually legal on the beach, but obviously don't vape at other people. One problem with the beach is the sand getting in your vape, but there are some easy ways to sort this.
Firstly, get a case to keep your vape in. Keeping your vape in a case when it's not being used can stop sand from getting into it and can also stop it from getting damaged by sunlight. Direct sunlight on the vape can make the liquid thinner and can also affect the batteries, therefore it is best to keep it out of direct sunlight.
Keep checking the battery temperature since, even with a parasol, the batteries can still get hot. If the batteries are hot, do not vape it till it cools down.
Be sure to keep it away from water. While you aren't likely to vape while swimming, there are still other things that can get it wet, like brief showers, kids with buckets of water and waves. Make sure your vape is in a place where it won't get damaged by water.
If sand does get in your vape, use a small cleaning rag to make the vape clean and be sure to rinse the parts out so you aren't left with a grainy mess.
Now you should be ready to hit the beaches with these helpful holiday tips. Stay moreish!
]]>In 2011, the amount of people in the world who vaped was around 7 million. In 2018, this number reached over 40 million and is still rising. Market research believes that by 2021, almost 55 million people will vape.
In the UK, the vaping industry has skyrocketed too, from 700,000 people in 2012 to over 3 million now. More than 15% of over 18s living in the UK currently vape, with 1 in 5 people having tried vaping at some point in their life.
As the vaping market has grown, the smoking industry has shrunk. According to the World Health Organisation's 2018 report, the number of smokers worldwide has had a slow but steady decrease since 2000, now at 1.1 billion from 1.14 billion. By the summer of 2018, less than 15% of the UK population smoked cigarettes or tobacco substances, the first time the figure had dropped this low.
In 2015, 58.8% of vapers have also smoked cigarettes, and currently, 80% of smokers vape. 74% of ex-smokers quit thanks to e-cigarettes.
The main reason why people vape is to quit smoking. This is because cigarette smoking is responsible for 480,000 deaths a year, including 41,000 deaths thanks to second hand smoke. Vaping does not cause these deaths since it does not contain the carcinogens involved in tobacco.
Vaping is actually cheaper than smoking, despite what some people believe. Currently, a pack of 20 cigarettes costs an average of £10.73. An average smoker uses around 11 cigarettes a day, adding up to over 77 cigarettes a week, calculating at over £40 a week. A vape kit can cost around £30 to £40 a week, with our e-liquids costing up to £17.99, but this lasts much longer and therefore is cheaper in the long run.
Another reason people vape is because of the many flavours you can get, from tobacco flavours to candy flavours to custard flavours! E-Liquids bring a flavour to fit anyone's palette! Vaping also allows you to enjoy desserts without gaining weight!
In 2018. the global vape market was worth $22.6 billion, up from $4.2 billion only a few years ago. The UK has the third biggest vape market after Japan and the United States, with vapers from the top 3 countries spending a combined $16.3 billion in 2016. United States is way ahead, earning almost $13 billion, while Japan earnt around 2 billion.
A survey made by Ernst and Young found that in 2015, the majority of vapors bought their vape products from a specialist e-cigarette shop. The second most used way of buying vape devices was online, but supermarkets, tobacconists and even pubs were also places people bought their stuff.
It is thought new vapers would buy their first products from a shop, so they can build familiarity with the product and get some advice on what is best for them. In the UK, there is an estimated 2000 vape shops.
Many vapers enjoy tobacco flavours, since they are reminiscent of the old cigars. They may also like menthol to remind them of menthol cigarettes. If they prefer a fruity flavour, the top fruity flavour is usually strawberries, thanks to their sweetness. Dessert lovers may also like cream flavours or vanilla flavours. A blog will come soon with more information on the favourite vape flavours.
Vaping dates back as early as the Ancient Egyptians. The Egyptians would heat various herbs together into a vapor which they would inhale. This was believed to clear the mind and cure diseases. This was often done in a religious context.
Vape kits were actually given out at the Academy Awards in 2016 and many celebrities received them as gifts. This gave the vape industry a good bit of attention.
Many celebrities actually vape, from singers like Katy Perry to actors like Jack Nicholson.
Cloud chasing is actually a sort of sport, and there have been competitions to see who can make the largest clouds. These people would win awards like money if they did the best trick.
One of the most expensive kits is the Magic Valley Vapors SX35J Dual Mod, costing a whopping $109,000. This device was created using a 3D printer.
I hope you have learnt something new about vaping. Find out more information about vaping from our other blogs, and for now, stay moreish!
]]>Vaping is often used to get off smoking since it is a healthier way, but there are some rumours that vaping is as dangerous as smoking, if not worse. This is not true.
The parts of cigarettes that cause cancer (or the carcinogens) is the tar and the carbon monoxide found in the tobacco. Vapes do not contain these ingredients. Even the tobacco flavoured e-liquids only use tobacco flavourings rather than actual tobacco. Public Health England, an executive agency from the Department of Health and Social Care, have stated that "E-cigarettes are 95% safer than smoked tobacco and they can help smokers quit", debunking the myth.
Four out of 10 smokers and ex-smokers mistakenly assume that the nicotine in the cigarettes is the cause of smoking-related cancer, even though there is evidence to oppose this.
While nicotine is the reason people get addicted to vaping, it is the other chemicals in cigarettes that causes almost all the harm. As mentioned above, e-cigarettes do not contain tar or carbon monoxide. It does contain some of the other chemicals found in cigarette smoke, but at much smaller and less fatal levels.
It is widely known that second hand smoke is harmful to bystanders, which is why there are many bans on smoking in public places and workplaces. Some of these laws don't apply to vaping, and people are free to make their own vape laws for the workplace.
E-Liquid is composed of flavourings, VG/PG and nicotine, which is vaporized without side-stream vapour being emitted to the atmosphere. Only the non-toxic aerosol is exhaled into the air.
Public Health England found that there is currently no known health risks of passive vaping to bystanders, though people with respiratory conditions can be sensitive to any irritants, which organisations should take into account when making their own policies.
One common misconception is that vaping can give you popcorn lung. Popcorn lung is the nickname for bronchiolitis obliterans, a lung disease caused by exposure of high levels of the chemical diacetyl, often used in buttery foods like popcorn. It got its name since it was initially observed by workers in a popcorn factory.
Vaping is believed to cause it since some e-liquids contained diacetyl to provide a buttery flavour, however the use of diacetyl has recently been banned as an ingredient in e-liquids. It had been detected in the past in some e-liquids, but at a minimal, non-lethal risk.
The UK currently has some of the strictest vape laws in the world. Each brand has to follow the TPD laws, which came into effect back in 2016. These laws stated that an e-liquid containing nicotine could not be more than 10ml, and a tank could be no more than 2ml capacity.
All e-liquids are submitted to the UK Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for testing, with every ingredient listed. That way, you can be sure that all Moreish Puff products are thoroughly regulated.
The New England Medical Journal gave vaping a negative press by claiming that formaldehyde forms as e-liquid is vaporised. Formaldehyde has been shown to cause various types of cancer, including leukemia.
The claim was quickly debunked by vapors. The temperature at which glycol is broken down into formaldehyde is actually far higher than the temperature that any e-cigarette can reach, meaning it is impossible for formaldehyde to form.
Professor Michael Siegel of the Boston University School of Public Health managed to disprove this by proving glycol does not evolve into anything at vaping temperatures. Special modifications would need to be made to the mod to get this to happen and, even then, the vape would produce a dry hit, so no-one would want to do it.
This one isn't actually a myth, but it is much less common than what some people are lead to believe. The batteries have been known to vent, ignite or explode if used incorrectly, but in reality, they are as dangerous as the battery used in your smart phone.
When a battery is used correctly, it will not explode. Any vaper who uses a mod or external battery should know the correct way to use, maintain, store and transport it, with most retailers giving a thorough description on battery safety.
This myth commonly comes up, but is entirely untrue. While some young people are experimenting with vaping, this is almost entirely people who already smoke, and regular use is very rare. Smoking rates for young people is also declining.
There is currently no evidence supporting the claim that vaping is "normalising smoking". As the rates of adult and youth vaping increased, the number of young people believing smoking is bad has also increased.
The vape industry has come under fire for some e-liquid flavours and brands that seem to market to kids. While there have been e-liquid brands in the past using the same or very similar designs to candies or drinks that kids like, these have now been warned by the FDA for misleading kids, so these e-liquids aren't allowed anymore.
Some people say that the sweet and dessert flavours attract kids, without realising that adults like a good dessert too. In 2017, fruity vape flavours outsold tobacco and menthol flavours and, with buyers being adults, they must be the one enjoying fruity flavours.
Like many products, vapes have an age restriction, with over-18's being the only people who can buy vapes by law. We personally have an age restriction policy too and refuse to sell to under 18 year olds.
One of the components of e-liquid is Propylene Glycol (PG). This is also used in antifreeze, which makes people believe that e-liquid contains antifreeze. If an e-liquid contains apples, that doesn't mean it's an apple pie flavour.
Ironically, PG is actually added to antifreeze to make it less harmful if it is swallowed, debunking the myth even more.
Now you should know the truth behind the myths of vaping, so you can be sure that you're safe. Stay Moreish!
]]>The most common mistake made by every new vaper on their first vape is taking a hard puff to try and get more vapor. This is because, if you puff hard on a normal cigarette, the rings on the paper makes the cigarette burn faster, releasing more smoke.
With a vape however, this doesn't work the same, and can even end up with less vapour, since the air tube will fill up with e-liquid, which can lead to you getting e-liquid in your mouth.
If you want to get more vapour, take longer puffs, not hard ones. Use gentle air pressue to avoid sucking the e-liquid into your mouth.
Most e-cigarettes come with a refillable tank, which will only work right when there is enough e-liquid in the tank to keep the coil wet. The heating coil has a (usually cotton) wick around it, which draws e-liquid from the tank to the coil.
The e-cigarette has wick holes which can be seen from the side of the device. If the level of e-liquid isn't constantly above these holes, the wick won't stay wet, and you can get a burnt, harsh, dry hit. Be sure to refill the tank before the liquid dips below these holes.
You can still get a burnt taste after you refill the tank, since the e-liquid needs time to saturate the wick after the tank is filled.
A good idea before filling your tank for the first time or when you replace a coil head would be to place bits of e-liquid on each end of the wick. Then, install the coil and fill the tank as normal. Be sure to wait a few minutes before using the tank. If you're waiting several minutes between puffs to let the wick resaturate, you should no longer get a burnt taste in your vape.
The e-liquid is possibly the most important part of the vaping experience. Without the liquid, you have nothing to vape, so you don't want to find yourself suddenly out of e-liquids, otherwise, in your desperation for nicotine, you could decide to return to the dark world of smoking.
If you like to buy your e-liquids online, be sure to place your order well before you run out, so you aren't left waiting for your order to come. Another thing you can do is check out your local vape shop to see if they stock your favourite brand.
PG and VG are both hygroscopic substances, which means they absorbe the moisture from the surrounding environment. When you exhale the vapour, you lose any water the VG and PG has absorbed. This can over time leave you with a dry mouth, throat and lips. Though vaping should not cause serious dehydration, you need to drink more to keep yourself hydrated.
Most people vape to get their nicotine fix, but new vapers are unsure of how much nicotine they need. If they get a nicotine strength too low, they will find themselves vaping more to comensate, which uses up more e-liquid and costs more in the long run. If they get a nicotine strength too high, they can start to get headaches and feel dizzy.
The way to work out your ideal nicotine strength is thinking how much you used to smoke. If you never smoked at all or want to cut nicotine out completely, a 0mg strength would be best for you. It is best to start at a low strength and work your way up. For more information about nicotine, check out this blog.
No coil can last forever. After a while, residue, or "coil gunk", starts to appear on the coil. If this becomes big enough, it begins to burn, giving you a burnt taste when you vape. The burnt taste will continue until you replace the coil.
The coil gunk can form quicker if sweeter e-liquids are used, since the sweeteners used leave deposits on the coil since they don't vaporise cleanly. If you aren't happy with the flavour of your vape, or you find your cotton has begun to darken, it's time to change your coil.
It is generally recommended to carry vape equipment in a dedicated carrier rather than your pocket or purse, since unsafe transportation can cause the tank to leak. Transporting the device can also lead to the device being turned on accidentally, which will wear out the coil quicker and may cause the coil to overheat.
If you have spare batteries for your kit, never carry them loosely in your pocket, since they can short-circuit if they touch other metal items such as keys or loose change. This can lead to the batteries venting hot gases or exploding.
It's always important to keep your vape clean so as to not get a bad taste in your mouth. It is always best to regularly clean the parts of your kit. Tanks are best to clean when you're changing e-liquids so you don't have a mix of e-liquids in the tank.
Always be careful to aim your vapour away from someone's face. If you blow vapour into someone else's face, they can feel uncomfortable, since there is not currently solid proof that second-hand vapour isn't bad for you.
If you continue to blow vapour in people's faces, this can lead to restrictions on where you can vape. This can make other vapors annoyed at you, so it is best to keep it discreet.
Now you should know how to deal with some common mistakes that beginner vapers make, so you can be sure this doesn't happen to you. Stay Moreish!
]]>The taste of the e-liquid is the most integral part of the e-liquid. The strength and VG/PG ratio could be fine, but if you don't like the taste, you're not going to like the e-liquid. Fortunately, we have loads of flavours for you so you are bound to find something you like.
Many people start with the tobacco flavours, since this is the closest flavour to the cigar they were smoking before. They may want a plain tobacco flavour, like Moreish Puff's Original Tobacco, or a combination, like Moreish Puff's Vanilla Tobacco. These liquids do not contain the tar and other carcinogens found in regular tobacco, so you won't feel the same negative side effects as in smoking.
Other people may want fruity flavours, sometimes with a cool twist, like the Moreish Puff Chilled Range, or blended into a fizzy drink, like the soda range or the Vapesta range.
Some vapers have more of a sweet tooth, so they may prefer candy flavours, like our Candy Drops range combining fruit and sweets, or our Sherbet range combining fruit and sherbet. They may also like desserts flavours, like the custard range or the shakes range.
Some vapers may even want alcohol flavours, like our fruity prosecco range, or a flavour reminiscent of their favourite coffees, like our Brewed range.
Everyone has different tastes, and there's a flavour out there for everyone, you just have to find it.
The next thing to decide is the strength of your nicotine. This is important since, if the nicotine strength is too strong, you will get headaches, leaving you uncomfortable. On the flip side, if you have a nicotine strength too low, you will vape more to compensate, meaning you will spend more money.
Some people vape without nicotine. These are usually people who have never smoked and just like the flavours but can also be people who just want to get off nicotine completely. If you want a vape with no nicotine, you can simply buy a short fill without the nic shot.
The best idea would be to start with a low nicotine strength and work your way up until you find your perfect strength.
For more information on how to mix your nic shot to get an ideal strength, see our blog on how nic shots work.
There are four elements of an e-liquid, the flavour and the nic strength are 2 of them (though the nic strength can be forgotten about if not needed). VG and PG are the other two elements. These create the vapour and the throat hit respectively. The VG produces more vapour, but less flavour, and vice versa for PG. This is because VG has a slightly sweet taste.
Our e-liquids come in a ratio of 70% VG / 30% PG. This means you have a higher amount of vapour but you still have that throat hit, making a good vaping experience.
Check out this blog for more information on the VG/PG ratio.
Now you know the e-liquid that's right for you, you should now decide what size the e-liquid should be. Moreish Puff comes in sizes of 25ml, 50ml and 100ml.
The best way to choose the right size is by thinking how much you used to smoke. If you smoked a lot, you would need a larger e-liquid bottle. If you have never smoked before, think how much you are planning to vape, and choose your size based on that. All the bottles come with space to add a nic shot.
The best thing to do when choosing your e-liquid is to test it first since you don't want to end up with a 100ml bottle of an e-liquid you don't want. Even though you may want a lemon sherbet because you like normal lemon sherbets, or you like a lemon sherbet flavour from a different brand, it may taste different, depending on how it' made.
If you buy your e-liquids from a vape shop, many will allow you to test the flavour before buying it. If you buy from online, you can not, though if you want to sample some flavours, you can contact us and we will look into it.
Choosing a perfect e-liquid is not something that you can do in a few days. It can take weeks and months to find the best one, changing flavours, nic strengths, VG/PG ratios and more. Eventually, though, you will find the e-liquid for you. Check our e-liquids to see what's best for you! And for now, stay moreish!
]]>PG (short for Propylene Glycerol) is a thin tasteless liquid alcohol with a lightly sweet taste. This controls the throat hit you get when vaping.
VG (short for Vegetable Glycerin) is a clear, thick, sweet liquid, bringing you a sweeter taste. The VG also composes the big vapour clouds.
PG is used in many food products for a variety of reasons. It can hold food components together and thicken it, but can also used as an anti-caking agent to stop things like grated cheese from sticking and clumping together. It can also be used to stop food from separating, like oil from salad dressing.
PG can also extend a food's shelf life by stopping oxygen from making in decay. It can strengthen dough by modifying starch and gluten, while also preserving moisture for foods like marshmallows to stop them from drying out. It can be used as a texturizer, to change the appearance or mouthfeel of food.
PG is used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic form for products like toothpaste, perfumes, hand sanitisers and more. These products use a less concentrated version of PG and therefore are generally regarded as safe by the FDA for use by humans and most animals.
Industrial PG is used in antifreeze, paint, varnishes and as a solvent. PG replaced ethylene glycerol in antifreeze since dogs were being poisoned when licking up puddles of antifreeze. These solvents use a much stronger version of PG than what is used in e-cigarettes.
VG is also used in food for many reasons. It is used to help oil and water based ingredients mix, which sweetens and softens the final product. It can stop ice crystals from forming in frozen foods, like ice creams and frozen yogurts.
VG can help with skin care, moisturizing and softening the skin. It keeps toxins from entering the body and adds a barrier to lock the moisture in, stopping you from getting dry skin. It can improve the pH levels in stopping scars from being shown. It can also be an alternative to lip balm, to keep your lips soft and hydrated.
VG is found in household products like toothpaste, hair care products and shaving cream. It can also stop your hair from going frizzy.
The ideal VG/PG ratio depends on what you're looking for with your vape.
If you want a smooth vape, you may want a high VG liquid, which gives a smooth feel in the throat and a thicker feel in the mouth. If you want a harder throat hit, a higher PG e-liquid would be best. Ex-smokers may miss the kick you get at the back of your throat, and a PG vape with nicotine can give you this. PG also enhances the flavour.
If you are a cloud chaser who wants to make lots of vapour, a high VG e-liquid would be best for you. This allows you to do vape tricks and enhance the vape experience. If you want to keep your vaping lowkey in public, a higher PG ratio would be better.
There is a known allergy of PG. It is a rare illness but, if you find yourself getting a rash when vaping, you may have an allergy, so a high VG vape is best for you. If you continue to have these issues, it would be best to consult a doctor.
Both PG and VG can cause dehydration when you first start vaping, so be sure to keep hydrated for the first week, after which the body will have gotten used to it.
As VG is quicker, it can reduce the life of atomisers quicker, as it clogs up coils and may not work well with some tanks. If this happens, a higher PG ratio would be better.
Our e-liquids currently come in the ratio of 70% VG / 30% PG. This gives you the best of both worlds, with a throat hit and lots of vapour. Shop our e-liquids here!
]]>Nicotine Shots are 10ml concentrated bottles of unflavoured nicotine that you can just add to a larger bottle of nicotine to get your perfect vape. These are not meant to be vaped alone, however, since it is the only part of the package containing nicotine, it is legal since it is 10ml.
Short Fills are e-liquids containing 0mg of nicotine, supplied in a bottle with enough space to add a nic shot too. Nicotine shots usually allow you to add up to 3mg of nicotine. Short fills are a great, cheap way to avoid wasting many 10ml bottles.
The TPD laws came out in 2017 to keep people safe and let them know about nicotine. The laws stated that a liquid containing nicotine cannot be over 10ml, and the nicotine content cannot be over 20mg/ml. Tanks have to have a capacity of 2ml maximum.
Now we know all about what nicotine shots are and why they exist, we need to work out how many nic shots are needed to make 3mg. The math is easy.
For a 100ml short fill, add 2 x 10ml 18mg nic shots to the bottle to make 3mg, since the short fills come in a 120ml bottle, the nic shots make up the other 20ml.
For a 50ml short fill, add 1 x 10ml 18mg nic shot to the bottle to make 3mg, since the short fills come in a 60ml bottle, the nic shots make up the other 10ml.
For a 25ml short fill, add a 5ml (half a 10ml) 18mg nic shots to the bottle to make 3mg, since the short fills come in a 30ml bottle, the nic shots make up the other 5ml.
Feel free to test the e-liquid as you add the nicotine to see which one is best for you
Different nic strengths work for different people. Some people want a lot of nicotine, while others may want very little. These depend on how much you used to smoke. This is our recommendation:
While mixing sounds easy, there is a clear procedure you must do in order to get your perfect e-liquid.
The steeping times vary depending on the flavours. Fruit only flavours are ready pretty much from the day of purchase up till 3 days. Menthol and mint flavours are ready after between 2 days and a week. Tobacco flavours take between a week and two weeks, while creamy flavours can take up to a month to reach perfection.
This is just the basic version of adding nic salts since advanced vapers probably have their own way of doing it.
