The e-liquid is arguably the most important part of the vaping experience. If you don't have it, you have nothing to vape. If you have it, but don't like it, it can really ruin the vape experience for you. Today, I will guide you through the process of choosing an e-liquid.
Finding the Flavour
The taste of the e-liquid is the most integral part of the e-liquid. The strength and VG/PG ratio could be fine, but if you don't like the taste, you're not going to like the e-liquid. Fortunately, we have loads of flavours for you so you are bound to find something you like.
Many people start with the tobacco flavours, since this is the closest flavour to the cigar they were smoking before. They may want a plain tobacco flavour, like Moreish Puff's Original Tobacco, or a combination, like Moreish Puff's Vanilla Tobacco. These liquids do not contain the tar and other carcinogens found in regular tobacco, so you won't feel the same negative side effects as in smoking.
Other people may want fruity flavours, sometimes with a cool twist, like the Moreish Puff Chilled Range, or blended into a fizzy drink, like the soda range or the Vapesta range.
Some vapers have more of a sweet tooth, so they may prefer candy flavours, like our Candy Drops range combining fruit and sweets, or our Sherbet range combining fruit and sherbet. They may also like desserts flavours, like the custard range or the shakes range.
Some vapers may even want alcohol flavours, like our fruity prosecco range, or a flavour reminiscent of their favourite coffees, like our Brewed range.
Everyone has different tastes, and there's a flavour out there for everyone, you just have to find it.
Finding the Nicotine Strength
The next thing to decide is the strength of your nicotine. This is important since, if the nicotine strength is too strong, you will get headaches, leaving you uncomfortable. On the flip side, if you have a nicotine strength too low, you will vape more to compensate, meaning you will spend more money.
Some people vape without nicotine. These are usually people who have never smoked and just like the flavours but can also be people who just want to get off nicotine completely. If you want a vape with no nicotine, you can simply buy a short fill without the nic shot.
The best idea would be to start with a low nicotine strength and work your way up until you find your perfect strength.

Finding the VG/PG Ratio
There are four elements of an e-liquid, the flavour and the nic strength are 2 of them (though the nic strength can be forgotten about if not needed). VG and PG are the other two elements. These create the vapour and the throat hit respectively. The VG produces more vapour, but less flavour, and vice versa for PG. This is because VG has a slightly sweet taste.
Our e-liquids come in a ratio of 70% VG / 30% PG. This means you have a higher amount of vapour but you still have that throat hit, making a good vaping experience.

Finding the Size
Now you know the e-liquid that's right for you, you should now decide what size the e-liquid should be. Moreish Puff comes in sizes of 25ml, 50ml and 100ml.
The best way to choose the right size is by thinking how much you used to smoke. If you smoked a lot, you would need a larger e-liquid bottle. If you have never smoked before, think how much you are planning to vape, and choose your size based on that. All the bottles come with space to add a nic shot.
Testing
The best thing to do when choosing your e-liquid is to test it first since you don't want to end up with a 100ml bottle of an e-liquid you don't want. Even though you may want a lemon sherbet because you like normal lemon sherbets, or you like a lemon sherbet flavour from a different brand, it may taste different, depending on how it' made.
If you buy your e-liquids from a vape shop, many will allow you to test the flavour before buying it. If you buy from online, you can not, though if you want to sample some flavours, you can contact us and we will look into it.
The Journey
Choosing a perfect e-liquid is not something that you can do in a few days. It can take weeks and months to find the best one, changing flavours, nic strengths, VG/PG ratios and more.
